A combo is set to enhance your child’s sand play experience and explore different options for what one can do with sand.
-
As your child plays with different water tools, they use their muscles and coordination, e.g. scoop the water and pour it somewhere else. This could assist your child in improving their gross motor skills.
-
Sand play always involves planning and problem-solving, as the sandcastles won’t stay upright forever!
-
Fantasy and pretend play provide a safe environment for your child to be anything they want without peer pressure or pressure from everyday society.
-
It encourages problem-solving skills and imaginative play.
-
It serves as a tool to improve language, storytelling and sentence-building skills.
-
During pretend play, where other friends are involved, they learn social-emotional skills such as sharing, understanding friends’ emotions, and using society’s rules during play.
-
Pretend play provides the opportunity for new learning experiences in a fun, playful manner, making learning fun!
