This book is designed to cover counting activities which go beyond 2000.

​There are several activities bridging 1000, to help children cross this barrier in a “fun” way.

​The word problems start in the number range 1 – 120 but some of the “if you dare” problems go into number range above 120.

​It is therefore suitable for grade 3 pupils who are ready to do counting activities which go beyond 1000, usually in the latter half of the year, as well as for grade 4 pupils, probably in the first half of the year who need to work on these Activities.

​For the word problems, I encourage the children to show their working in the space on the page provided, but work books, slates or wipe-off boards may also be used if the space is not adequate.
