• The outer edge of a circle (the perimeter) is called the circumference.

• The centre is the same distance from all parts of the circumference.

• Any number of diameters can be drawn.

• Any diameter divides a circle into 2 equal semi-circles.

• A circle is symmetrical about any diameter.

• Any number of radii can be drawn from the centre of the circumference.

• The diameter is equal to 2x the radius of the same circle.
