A consonant is any letter in the alphabet that is not a vowel. There are 21 in all. Consonants enhance the sound of the words. Consonants in this game are blended or joined together in clusters of two letters at a time to produce distinct consonant sounds, such as bl, cr, sh, etc.
Using 25 three-piece self-correcting Match-ups, the child must match a blend with two corresponding pictures starting with that blend.
